We inform you that this website complies with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), which protects individuals with regard to the processing of personal data. Your data will therefore be processed in accordance with the principles of fairness, legality, and transparency, safeguarding your privacy and rights.

1. Who processes the data?

When using the site, your personal data will be processed by the Data Controller:
  • CELLULARLINE SPA (headquartered in Reggio Emilia, via G. Lambrakis 1/A, VAT Number 09800730963, and registered at the Reggio Emilia Companies Register no. 315329, tel. 0522 334002), owner of the website, the domain names, and the “Cellularline” and “Interphone” trademarks. Cellularline has appointed, pursuant to Article 37 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, its Data Protection Officer (DPO), who can be contacted via email at: privacy@cellularline.com.

2. For what purposes, on what legal basis, and for how long?

A. MANAGING USER ACCESS AND NAVIGATION

B. MARKETING ACTIVITIES

B1. SENDING NEWSLETTERS AND DEM

Subscription to the newsletter is entirely optional.
The newsletter and DEM service will be managed using MailChimp, a mailing tool provided by Intuit, an external company appointed as Data Processor. Marketing communications may include, for example: products from Cellularline SpA, use cases for products in the online shop catalog, images, videos, or other multimedia content related to Cellularline SpA products or brands.

Legal Basis

Data is collected based on consent provided at the time of subscription.

Retention Period

Data will be processed for this purpose until the user opts out of the service (via the link included in every communication) or if the email address becomes inactive.

B2. SOCIAL NETWORK COMMUNICATION CAMPAIGNS

Your personal information, collected while browsing our site or purchasing products, may be shared with digital platforms and social networks for marketing purposes. This enables us to personalize the advertisements you see online.
The Data Controller may also process your contact data and information shared during interactions with digital platforms and social networks to display marketing messages and content aligned with your interests, based on preferences and consumption habits analyzed by platform operators like Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. (“Meta”).

Legal Basis

This activity is based on profiling consents, which are entirely optional, revocable at any time, and expressed by the user through cookie preferences or privacy settings on the social network profile.

Retention Period

Data will be processed for the past 2 years of activity or until the user opts out of the service.
 

C. CUSTOMER CARE

C1. HANDLING ASSISTANCE REQUESTS

User data may be processed for assistance and customer care activities, such as responding to information requests, complaints, reports, and disputes. The service involves using GUURU Solution AG, an external provider appointed as Data Processor, based in Switzerland, a non-EU country ensuring an adequate level of data protection (Article 45 GDPR).

Legal Basis

Processing is necessary to respond to a request by the data subject (Article 6.1.b GDPR).

Retention Period

Data will be processed as long as necessary to respond to requests and then retained for an additional 5 years.

C2. HANDLING USER RIGHTS REQUESTS

When users exercise their rights as specified in Section 7, identification data may be requested and processed as per legal obligations binding CELLULARLINE, ensuring proper handling and verification of the request.
Refusing to provide the requested data for this purpose will prevent CELLULARLINE from fulfilling the user’s request, thereby barring them from exercising their rights.

Retention Period

Data will be processed for the time required to handle and close the request and may be retained as proof of compliance with the request.

 

D. PURSUING LEGAL ACTION

Personal data collected during site navigation or usage may be processed by CELLULARLINE SPA to establish, exercise, or defend its legal rights.

Legal Basis

Data initially collected for a different purpose is processed based on the legitimate interest of the Data Controller (Article 6.f GDPR).

Retention Period

Up to 10 years from data collection or the fulfillment of the original purpose.

3. How will the data be processed?

This platform is developed using the Shopify system. For product purchases, users are redirected to Amazon channels.

Data processing involves both analog and digital methods and employs automated tools capable of correlating data based on qualitative, quantitative, or temporal criteria, ensuring data security and confidentiality.

 

4. Am I required to provide data?

Aside from navigation data, providing personal data is optional. CELLULARLINE has structured its activities to minimize personal data collection, limiting requests to essential data. Refusing to provide data marked with an asterisk (*) may prevent requested operations from being completed.

Marketing consents can be withdrawn at any time using the link in each communication.

 

5. Who will the data be shared with? Will it be disclosed?

Disclosure: Your personal data will NOT be disclosed under any circumstances.

Communication: Data may be shared with entities, including public authorities, entitled to access by law or regulation.
Data may also be made accessible to:
  • Authorized employees and collaborators;
  • External companies, consultants, or professionals appointed as Data Processors, including IT maintenance, mailing, and cloud service providers;
  • Social platform operators for marketing campaigns (as co-controllers or independent controllers for targeting campaigns).

6. Where will the data be stored?

Data will primarily be stored at the Data Controller’s premises or those of its suppliers within the EU.

For marketing and newsletter services, providers in the United States are involved, ensuring compliance with Chapter V of GDPR through adherence to the Data Privacy Framework.
For Customer Care, suppliers based in Switzerland are involved, ensuring compliance through adequacy decisions by the European Commission.
For all other activities, no transfers outside the EU are planned.

7. What are your rights?

As a data subject, you have several rights under Articles 15-22 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, including:
The right to access your data;
The right to correct or supplement your data;
The right to have your data erased;
The right to restrict processing under certain conditions;
The right to data portability;
The right to object to processing;
The right not to be subject to automated decision-making;
The right to notification in case of a serious data breach;
